Awamedica has a partnership with the French multinational company Sanofi, manufacturing several of Sanofi’s most well-known products for the Iraqi market. Awamedica develops, produces, markets and sells a broad range of medicines catering for the needs of the Iraqi market and beyond. The customers, both public and private, are offered affordable products of a quality that is of the highest international standard, thereby ensuring both efficacy and safety for the patient. The private market is reached through Awamedica’s own sales force covering the Kurdistan Region of Iraq as well as Baghdad with surrounding areas. Kimadia, the Ministry of Health in Baghdad procurement organization, is a major customer for Awamedica. The company is every year successfully winning a great number of Kimadia tenders. As part of its quality commitment to patients Awamedica prints its product information leaflets and other information material in three languages, English, Kurdish and Arabic.
